Speculative Hybrid Office

The evolution of office planning embodies the initial creation, changing styles, and the growing innovation of the office space. The hybrid workplace policy alters the layout of the office. The physical size of the office is shrinking and the type of space, as well as how it is being allocated, is shifting. The hybrid office is intended to place a greater emphasis on group activity, visual & tactical work, and work that requires interaction. The goal of this project is to create an office space that aligns with the evolving hybrid requirement and excels in adaptability.

Concept Statement

Stepping away from the daily dread of the repetitive nine to five job; a speculative hybrid office that will excite employees on their early morning drive to the office. Providing a new workspace each day so employees can enjoy a daily change of scenery. Light and shadow are a representation of this variability of space. Shadow, which plays off of light, changes depending on where you are standing. Similarly, the office space will change based on your angle and perspective. Depending on the type of work or the kind of worker, there will be a space fit for it. Members of the office can come in and use any part of the space they’d like. Stepping away from assigned seating and traditional office design helps create distance from the bore of the conventional workday.
